Just got home from hanging out at a friend's place. If you don't live by yourself like I do & have someone (or even a pet goldfish...my doggie is living w/ my parents right now...) to go home to, then here's how to announce your arrival!

Romaji: Tadaima! (tah-DAH-ee-mah)

Japanese: ただ今！　（ただいま）

Meaning: I'm home!

Now you can announce your presence to your family every time you get back home. You don't have to say this if you're just going outside to do yard work or take out the trash. =P
