Romaji: Konban wa. (kon-BON wah)

Japanese: こんばんは。

Meaning: Good evening.

Now, when you meet your friends for dinner, you can greet them in Japanese! Please note that this is not how you would say "good night" to someone when you're heading off to bed. Maybe I'll teach you that one tomorrow. Happy learning, everyone!
