Since it's almost Halloween, I thought it would be best to post something more pertinent to the season!

Romaji: Kowai desu. (koh-WHY dess)

Japanese: 怖いです。 OR 　恐いです。　（こわいです。）

Meaning: It's/that's/he's/she's scary! OR I'm scared! (depending on the situation)

Please don't get this phrase confused with "Kawaii/可愛い", which means "cute." I suppose one can easily make fun of people this way...calling them scary instead of cute in Japanese. Anyway, happy learning & have a happy Halloween next week! =)
