The Dai-Gurran Brigade march into battle early in the morning to take Dai-Ganzan using Lagann but Simon can’t think straight because of Yoko and Kamina’s kiss. They reach Dai Ganzan but both sides have prepared counter measures. After a long battle Simon manages to use Lagann to take control of Dai-Ganzan, but at the cost of the life of a comrade.
